PPPoker Hand Analysis: Why Hand2Note and PokerTracker Don't Work (and What Does)
PPPoker hand histories live in a walled garden — no PT4 import, no Hand2Note HUD. Here is the workflow that actually works for analyzing your private-club hands.
The PPPoker Hand Analysis Problem
PPPoker is one of the most popular private-club poker apps in Asia (Taiwan, Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, Brazil), but if you're searching PPPoker hand analysis, you've probably already discovered the bad news:
- Hand2Note doesn't natively parse PPPoker hand histories
- PokerTracker 4 has no PPPoker import
- Hold'em Manager 3 doesn't support it either
- PPPoker's own in-app replay is extremely limited — visual only, no stats, no filters
The classic Windows-tracker workflow doesn't apply here. The reasons are structural and identical to PokerBros, ClubGG, and other modern app-based platforms — see our Hold'em Manager alternatives for modern apps for the full breakdown.
How to Actually Analyze PPPoker Hands
DEEPFOLD AI Coach is the practical option. Three input modes:
Mode 1: Screenshot. While playing, take a screenshot of the table at any street (flop, turn, river). Upload to DEEPFOLD. The AI reads position, stacks, bet sizes, board cards, and hole cards directly from the image.
Mode 2: Email export paste. Some PPPoker clubs allow players to email hand histories. The format isn't standard, but DEEPFOLD's AI accepts pasted text and parses it tolerantly — unlike PT4 / HM3 which need exact format matches.
Mode 3: Manual description. Type the hand: "I had QQ on BTN, 80BB, MP opened 3x, I 3-bet to 9, MP called, flop A47..." AI handles parsing and analysis.
What PPPoker Players Actually Need
Most PPPoker players we hear from face the same recurring problems:
1. "I'm crushing one club but losing in another. Why?" PPPoker club fields vary wildly. A reg-heavy club plays differently from a recreational club. Without a HUD, you're flying blind on opponent tendencies. DEEPFOLD's per-hand AI analysis at least lets you reason about each spot, even without long-term opponent profiles.
2. "I just made a sketchy decision in a 200BB pot. Was I right?" Mid-session second-guessing. Screenshot the hand, paste into DEEPFOLD, get a 5-second answer. No need to wait until the session ends.
3. "I want to study my big losing hands but the app's replayer is useless." Right. PPPoker's built-in replay is visual only. Take screenshots of your worst spots during the session, then review them at home with DEEPFOLD.
Example: A PPPoker Hand Review
A reader's screenshot from a Bangkok club ring (shared with permission):
Situation: PPPoker NL$50/$100 (chips, exchange rate ~$0.05/chip = real-money $2.50/$5 effective), 9-max, 100BB. Hero HJ opens A♥Q♥ to 3BB. CO and BTN fold. SB 3-bets to 12BB. BB folds. Hero calls. Flop Q♣ 8♦ 4♠.
DEEPFOLD reply (from the screenshot):
Preflop: AQs HJ call vs SB 3-bet at 100BB is fine — 4-betting is also defensible against tight ranges. Calling keeps wider hands in your range and protects your flatting frequency.
Flop Q♣8♦4♠: Top pair, top kicker on a dry board. Your range crushes SB's range here (SB 3-bet range is QQ+, AK, plus some Ax suited bluffs).
Hand strength: AQs is the second-nuts on this board (only QQ ahead). Backdoor flush draw, no straight draws on the texture.
Strategy: This is a pure call/raise spot — you do not fold, ever. If SB c-bets, raise small (call against larger sizings — your range cap from flatting preflop is real). If checked, bet 33-50% pot to start building the pot.
Leak flag: If you've been folding AQs to flop c-bets on Qxx boards historically, you're committing a major leak.
That's the kind of feedback PPPoker's in-app replay never delivers.
FAQ
Why doesn't Hand2Note work on PPPoker?
Hand2Note is a Windows app that monitors local hand history folders. PPPoker is mobile-first, doesn't write hand histories to a local folder Hand2Note can watch, and the app's TOS prohibits third-party HUD overlays anyway. Even if Hand2Note could read PPPoker output, using it during play would risk a club ban.
Is using DEEPFOLD on PPPoker hands allowed?
DEEPFOLD operates post-hand — you analyze a hand after it's complete by uploading a screenshot or description. That's not a real-time HUD or in-game tool. Most clubs treat post-session study the same as showing a hand to a friend — fine.
Can DEEPFOLD give me a HUD on PPPoker?
No, and no third-party tool can reliably (TOS + technical reasons). The realistic workflow is: post-session screenshot review for your own decisions, plus club selection (find clubs with weaker fields rather than fighting tougher fields with broken HUDs).
My PPPoker club uses different chip-to-dollar ratios. Does that affect analysis?
No. DEEPFOLD analyzes in BB-equivalent terms — stack depth, pot odds, EV calculations are all relative. Whether the BB is $0.10 or $5 doesn't change the strategic answer.
What's the cheapest way to start?
DEEPFOLD Free gives you 3 hand uploads / 10 AI questions per month — enough for a couple of sessions a week. Heavier players move to Basic ($17/mo) or PRO ($25/mo).
