ClubGG Hand Analysis: Why Traditional Trackers Fail and What Actually Works

ClubGG hand histories don't play nicely with PokerTracker, Hold'em Manager, or Hand2Note. Here's the workflow that actually works, plus an honest review of the platform itself.

ClubGG Is Different From GGPoker (Don't Confuse Them)

ClubGG is not GGPoker. Same parent company (NSUS Group), but entirely different product:

  • GGPoker = real-money public online poker (regulated markets, runs on PokerCraft)
  • ClubGG = play-money private club platform (clubs run their own stake structures off-platform)

If you searched ClubGG hand analysis because you assumed PokerCraft would work โ€” it doesn't. ClubGG hands are not in the GGPoker hand history format, PokerCraft doesn't parse them, and the app deliberately limits hand-history export to discourage tracker integration.

Why ClubGG Hands Are Hard to Analyze

1. Anti-tracker stance. ClubGG's TOS explicitly prohibits third-party HUDs and screen-scraping. Hand2Note, PokerTracker 4, and Hold'em Manager 3 either won't parse ClubGG output or risk account flags.

2. Limited hand-history export. Some clubs allow players to email hand histories; many don't. The format, when it exists, isn't PokerStars-compatible.

3. App-only architecture. ClubGG is mobile-first with a Windows desktop client that doesn't write hand histories to a local folder. There's no C:\ClubGG\handhistory\ for PT4 to watch.

The result: the classic "import โ†’ analyze โ†’ HUD" workflow that works on regulated sites doesn't apply.

What Actually Works for ClubGG Hand Analysis

DEEPFOLD AI Coach is the practical option. Three input modes:

Mode 1: Screenshot upload. While playing, snap a screenshot of the hand at any street. Upload to DEEPFOLD. The AI reads position, stacks, bet sizes, board, and hole cards from the image.

Mode 2: Plain-English description. Type the hand into chat: "I had AKs UTG, opened 3x at 100BB, flop AT4 rainbow, BB check-raised...". AI handles the parsing.

Mode 3: Pasted hand history. If your club emails you a hand history file (some do, in non-standard formats), paste the text directly. DEEPFOLD's AI is tolerant of format variation, unlike rigid parsers like PT4.

Honest Review: Should You Play on ClubGG?

If you're searching ClubGG hand analysis but also wondering whether the platform is worth the time, here's a balanced take:

ClubGG strengths:

  • Officially licensed by NSUS Group (same operator as GGPoker), so the underlying engine is solid
  • Mobile UI is clean, reliable
  • Easy way to play with friends in private rings without dealing with shady apps

ClubGG weaknesses:

  • Play money on the surface โ€” real money exchange happens off-platform via club admins, with all the trust risk that implies
  • No HUD support means you're flying blind against regulars
  • Hand-history export is restricted, which makes serious study harder
  • Field quality varies wildly by club โ€” some are filled with regs, some with recreationals

The DEEPFOLD honest take: ClubGG is fine if you're playing socially or trust your club admin. For serious bankroll growth, regulated sites (GGPoker, PokerStars, WPT Global) give you better protection and proper hand-history pipelines.

Example: A ClubGG Spot

A reader sent a screenshot of this hand:

Situation: ClubGG NL$1/$2 club ring, 9-max, 100BB. Hero MP opens Kโ™ฅKโ™ฃ to 3BB. BTN 3-bets to 9BB. SB folds, BB cold-calls. Hero 4-bets to 24BB. BTN 5-bet jams 100BB. BB folds. Hero's decision.

DEEPFOLD reply (after parsing the screenshot):

Stack-off equity check: KK vs typical 9-max BTN cold 4-bet jam range (QQ+, AK, occasional bluff bombs) sits at ~52% equity. You're calling 76BB more to win 124BB total โ€” needs 38% equity to break even. KK has 52%. Call.

Range read on BTN: In a 9-max club ring (rec-heavy), a 5-bet jam over your 4-bet is almost never AK โ€” recreationals don't jam AK preflop without history. Your read is more likely AA / KK / occasionally QQ.

Adjust: You blocker AA partially (2 KK combos vs 6 AA combos). KK is a profitable call but rarely the favorite. Plan to commit and lose flips occasionally.

Five seconds, screenshot to answer.

FAQ

Is ClubGG safe to play on?

Officially yes (NSUS Group license). But play-money architecture means real-money exchange happens via your club admin off-platform. Trust depends entirely on your club, not the operator.

Why won't Hand2Note work on ClubGG?

Two reasons: (1) ClubGG's hand history format isn't standard PokerStars-style .txt; (2) running a HUD overlay during ClubGG play violates TOS and can get your account flagged.

Can DEEPFOLD parse a ClubGG email export?

If your club provides email exports of hand histories, paste the text into DEEPFOLD. The AI is tolerant of format variation. If you only have screenshots, use screenshot mode.

Is ClubGG the same as GGPoker?

No โ€” same parent company (NSUS Group), entirely different product. GGPoker is real-money public poker; ClubGG is play-money private clubs.

Should I switch from ClubGG to a regulated site?

For serious study and consistent bankroll growth, yes โ€” GGPoker, PokerStars, WPT Global all give you proper hand-history pipelines. ClubGG is fine for social play.
